Posted by Mr. Curtiss Messner, a US national residing in Thailand connected with the Help to Heal Foundation seeking assistance for his prostrate artery embolization. He shared his medical status and reports with Ms. Prachi, patient coordinator of the Help to Heal Foundation team. He received a cost estimate of the procedure along with the list of hospitals pan India offering the same.
It was essential to undergo a checkup in person as per the initial advice of the consulting doctor. Ms. Prachi arranged for his travel papers and e-medical visa enabling him to travel as soon as possible. Hence, Mr. Curtiss visited India on 26th August 2019. Also, Ms. Prachi arranged for his pick up from the airport and had a volunteer accompanying him to visit the doctor at the Medanta hospital, Gurgaon.
After personal medical check-up and required medical tests, Mr Curtiss underwent the Prostate Artery Embolization procedure and recovered soon enough. In fact, the entire procedure was completed in a single day and Mr. Curtiss was discharged the very next day. Upon discharge, it was safe for him to resume normal activities.
Mr. Curtiss was satisfied with the extent of assistance and cooperation provided by Ms. Prachi and the entire Help to Heal team and returned to Thailand in a much better shape on 30th August 2019.
