42 YO, Ms Zena from Kenya got in touch with the Help to Heal foundation online inquiring about a reliable hospital and a gastroenterologist who could solver her medical issues. Ms. Kauser, our patient coordinator got in touch with her to know more about her medical condition.
After understanding her case, Ms. Kauser referred her to Dr.Dr.Somnath Chattopadhyay an eminent gastroenterologist at the Kokilaben Hospital, Mumbai. It was Dr.Chattopadhyay’s suggestion that she agreed to visit India for check up and treatment. Ms. Kauser processed her travel papers and medical e-visas and so on enabling her to travel as soon as possible.
Ms. Zena was accompanied by Omar KhayrurnasiBakor, her 13 YO son who would also undergo a general pediatriccheck up. Ms. Kauser had also processed his travel papers.
Mr. Tarandeep, our volunteer was assigned to provide them with concierge services such pickup from the airport, accompanying them to the hospital and so on. Ms. Zena and her son arrived in India on August 10, 2019 and were escorted to Kokilaben Hospital by Mr. Tarandeep.
Both Ms. Zena and her son underwent medical checkups and investigations post which Dr.Somnath prescribed her with medicines for her gastrointestinal issues. Also, he gave her a clean chit and she could fly home back to Kenya whenever she wished to.
It was nearly after two weeks that Ms. Zena and her son flew back to Kenya in a much healthier condition. They thanked Ms. Kauser and Mr. Tarandeep for their efforts in making their stay in India a comfortable one.
