By organizing the Free Health Check-UP Camps, Help to Heal Foundation wants to help the people monitor their health issues and also take positive steps in maintaining a sound health.
The main objective to organize this free health checkup camp is to provide information regarding diet, exercise and health control.
Actually we intended to cover 500 people (male & females) in this camp and also to provide free medicines to diagnosed people.
However, around 110 people (40 males and 70 females) went through their health checkup at this particular medical camp.
People who came for the Camp were also provided with a free consultation by Dieticians and Doctors. Further, the Doctors also advised them to follow up with local doctors or public health centers.
They could also go to Ashtvinayak Hospital for further treatment.
During the camp, doctors provided eye check-up, body mass index (BMI), ECG, diabetes, blood pressure, sugar level and other such essentials tests to evaluate their vital health on various parameters.
The Help to Heal Foundation and Ashtvinayak Foundation take initiatives to provide health check-up to the poor and sick people who cannot afford medical care.
They raise awareness on health by imparting knowledge on how to live well, healthy and keep yourself and the surrounding clean.
It also promotes how yoga and meditation improves your health.
